Highly recommended. I lost my keys on holiday and needed a locksmith to meet me when I got home. Chris provided a very reasonable quote that he kept to, met me at exactly the time he said he would, explained what he would do and updated me as he did it. I gained entry to my home in less than half an hour and the lock was undamaged.

Very good, punctual, professional and friendly service. Explained everything beforehand and after the work was complete, with some added tips thrown in. Gives you a rough idea of costs during the original consultation so at least you have a good idea before booking the work, which is a refreshing change.Would highly recommend CSM to anyone.

It was so refreshing to meet a tradesman who was respectful, knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. Chris is a true craftsman. I was having issues with one of the locks on the conservatory door, turned out the lock was fine, the problem was due to the doors becoming misaligned. Chris sorted out the doors and saved me a fortune. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Nice and easy communication with quotes and appointment, reasonable prices, no hidden charges, we wanted to change three locks, but one of the patio doors locks couldn’t be changed after about 45 minutes trying due to a failed mechanism and a stuck panel, we were only charged for two locks. Chris also checked for a door fixers contact and links for materials. Really appreciate his professional and reliable service, will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Chris fixed our conservatory door today which wouldn't unlock. Although not an emergency he'd solved the problem, sourced and fitted a necessary new lock unit to our aging door and made it work better than before - all on the day we contacted him. Chris tried his best to repair old lock of 14 years, but I opted for new one as this was not too much more. Very friendly, professional and reasonable. Not the cheapest, but value is something you pay for, and this was great value. Great experience, would definitely recommend Chris to anyone.

I was locked out of my property due to a worn out lock, phoned around and Chris was recommended to me by a locksmith that was busy on another job. I don’t usually leave reviews but on this occasion it’s totally needed. I called Chris as my front door lock broke, he came round the same day and replaced the lock and even fixed the door that was a bit sticky. He was very friendly and did a great. Would definitely recommend using him if you need a locksmith.

Chris was very professional and honest. I got a few quotes and he had a very fair price with no extra hidden charges. He communicated clearly what the price would be to get the lock fixed and did not unnecessarily upsell me or just say that I needed a new lock. On a Sunday he arrived within 5 mins and helped me tenant to unlock the door. As a landlord you can’t ask for much more than that, someone you can trust and gets the job done quickly. Chris came across very professional and not knowing much about what locks suited us, he guided us though options while not just on the sales pitch.There ended up being a few issues with the door but Chris took the time, patience and effect to make the lock work which has made both myself and partner feel safer in our new home. I only called them this morning and was able to get someone out the same day. My front door had been locked shut and the handle was broken so I wasn’t able to use it at all. Chris was really personable and explained every step of the repair and what the problem was so that I was able to feel confident in his work and that I was not being ripped off. The price he quoted was what was paid was very reasonable for the time he was here. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Quite embarrassingly we required CMS to let us back into our house a second time yesterday (remembering to bring keys with us is apparently hard work). He was with us within 10 minutes and we were back in the house within 15 minutes, the first time we rang was late at night and even then he was with us within 20 minutes! The service is so quick, efficient, professional and friendly, which means a lot when you already feel like a donut locking yourself out of the house! I 100% recommend them and there was no hesitation on who to call when we were locked out a second time! Whilst I hope not to have to call them for the same issue again, I would happily use their other services too.

I called CSM when the lock failed on my wooden patio doors and rather than cause any damage to the doors Chris persisted for longer than should have been necessary until he broke the lock and opened the doors. The lock inside was now obsolete but again Chris went out of his way to find me a replacement part. A very genuine guy and a first class job so thanks CSM Security you saved the day.

Our letting agent called Chris as we were locked out of our garage.
